Tiger Jawfish
Opistognathus sp.
A relatively new addition to the hobby, the Tiger Jawfish features a striking striped pattern. Like all jawfish, it requires a deep sand bed and a tight lid on the aquarium.
About the Jawfish Family
Jawfish are full of personality and are known for their habit of digging burrows in the sand. They require a tank with a deep sand bed and plenty of loose rubble to construct their homes. They are famous for being 'jumpers,' so a tight-fitting lid is an absolute requirement to keep them safe.
