Rabbitfish are a relatively large, generally peaceful family of fish. They're easy to care for and will get along fine with other fish in the aquarium except for other Rabbitfish.
Rabbitfish have sharp, venomous spines on their dorsal (top) fins that they strictly use for defense. The presence of these spikes tends to ward off any predators that might otherwise consider them a meal.
While they will mostly ignore any coral in the tank, if they get too hungry then they will begin to eat any soft coral they find.
