Bicolor Parrotfish

Known for its incredible juvenile stage which is pure white with a vertical orange band and a black spot on the dorsal fin. As they mature, they grow quite large and change into a complex green and blue pattern.
About the Parrotfish Family
Parrotfish are brightly colored and constantly active, known for their beak-like mouths used to scrape algae from rocks. They are vital for wild reefs but can be difficult to keep in home aquariums due to their specific dietary needs and large size. They are generally not safe for reef tanks as they may damage corals while grazing.
