What kind of fish are in Finding Nemo?

Nemo
Nemo - as well as his Dad, Marlin - are both Clownfish. They live in an anemone which is true both in the ocean and, at times, in an aquarium. Clownfish have developed immunity to the toxin that anemones use to trap prey and have developed a mutually beneficial relationship with each other over time. The clownfish that live in an anemone provide food for it and the anemone provides protection in return.

Dory
Dory is a Blue Tang - specifically, a Regal Blue Tang. This is not clear in the movie, but in reality Blue Tangs grow to be far, far larger than clownfish.

Keep in mind that due to size and compatibility issues, you could not actually house all of these fish in a single aquarium.
